The allowed hand baggage weight and size varies depending on your class of travel.
A handbag, pocket book, or purse which is appropriate to normal travel dress and is not being used as a container for other items which could be regarded as baggage.
A laptop/ personal computer
An overcoat, wrap or blanket
An umbrella or walking stick
A small camera or pair of binoculars
A reasonable amount of reading matter
Infant's food for consumption during the flight
A fully collapsible wheelchair (please note that this will be loaded in the hold at the departure gate)
A pair of crutches and/or braces or other prosthetic device provided that the customer is dependent on them
Checked Baggage: Smart bags are permitted as checked baggage provided the battery is removed and carried in the cabin; if the battery cannot be removed, the Smart bag may not be carried as checked baggage.
Cabin Baggage: Smart bags are allowed in the cabin (weight and size permitting), as long as the battery is removable. The battery does not have to be removed in flight as long as the Smart bag is completely powered off. If the battery is not removable, the Smart bag cannot be carried on Gulf Air.
